Marine Cloud sets up service schedule notifications for on-board equipment so that manufacturer maintenance schedules & regular checks are never missed.
Manufacturer maintenance schedules are fixed based on the recommended intervals, you to turn off manufacturer schedules and setup your own Custom Schedules for any part.
Parts integrate with any relevant documentation, unplanned maintenance and defect reports, building a detailed log of maintenance. If you upgrade or change equipment Marine Cloud adds it to your account.
All the manuals for your vessel are provided in a searchable library accessed online via your dashboard, an offline version is supplied in your welcome pack. Manuals are provided in PDF format enabling fast and easy searching for specific details.
Setup schedules and receive notifications for date-based tasks such as cleaning routines, safety checks and crew training. Attach documentation such as photos or scans of receipts. Organise your tasks in to categories for quick reference.
Receive automated reminders 90 & 30 days before a certificate is due to expire, easily manage your certificates and store expired certificates to form a complete record for your vessel.
Create checklists for use when completing regular checks and tasks. Checklists are a great way to record checks such as safety checks and drills and are valuable tool for both private and commercial vessels.
Completed checklists are stored so they can be viewed and filtered to flag up repeat offenders, a great tool if your vessel is subject to audit.
Defect Reporting is an optional module aimed at those operating or managing a fleet of vessels, some vessels must comply with defect reporting process as a statutory requirement under Flag or Class. Fleet operators often use defect reporting as a tool for flagging up and logging defects or procedural non-conformity process and resolution.
Structured & logged process
The defect reporting process is logged from start to finish. Opening a Defect Report starts the process; on-board & shore based staff contribute around the required course of action; confirmation the defect is resolved is required before a report can be closed.
Keep shore management up to date
Reports can be opened against a piece of equipment, or a custom area of your choosing and assigned a priority level from ‘ship cannot trade’ down to non-urgent break downs. Your chosen shore based contacts are automatically notified of the defect and can log in to view and contribute to the process.
View upcoming maintenance, certificates and checklists via an online & offline calendar. You can setup and save multiple calendars displaying any past, current, or upcoming notifications for your vessel.
For example: Setup a Calendar called ‘Safety’ which displays only the selected safety equipment and another called ‘Critical Equipment’ for only the selected critical equipment items.
Any of the calendars you setup can be exported as a subscription to a computer, smartphone, iPad or tablet. This means you can view notifications offline up to a year ahead, it also means that any changes on the system will automatically be updated on your mobile device as soon as it has internet access again.
The vessel log is a comprehensive searchable history of maintenance, checks and service documentation. Every action is logged and can easily be searched for use in the future.
Marine Cloud provides a simple and easy to use Inventory system allowing users to keep track of consumable items and spare parts. The Inventory feature allows users to setup new items, set low or reorder levels and attach information such as supplier details or special instructions.
When stock is running low and needs to be re-ordered, all appropriate users will receive a notification alerting them.
Maintenance that isn’t part of a Manufacturer or User service schedule can be logged and documentation attached such as photos or service documents. Unplanned Maintenance is logged against the part and helps build a comprehensive maintenance record for your vessel that can be used to help the re-sale process.
